Dallas Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale made history at the 2023 WNBA All-Star Game, setting a new record for points scored in the event. Despite not scoring in the first half, Ogunbowale exploded in the second half, finishing with a remarkable 34 points on 10-of-15 shooting.
Ogunbowale's performance helped lead Team Wilson to a 134-112 victory over Team Stewart. She was named the game's Most Valuable Player (MVP) for her outstanding contribution.
This achievement adds to Ogunbowale's already impressive resume. She was the fifth overall pick in the 2019 WNBA Draft and has quickly established herself as one of the league's top players. In 2022, she averaged 19.7 points per game and helped the Wings reach the WNBA playoffs.
